IE6 encounters problem and closes

I have had an error message come up every few minutes that
says "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." It gives me the option of sending an
error report to MS, which I do, but the odd thing is that
IE doesn't always close down. Does anyone know anything
about this? Thanks.

Rebecca, I have the same problem. It happens, not every
few minutes, but only on certain sites...specifically
Orbitz, which I cannot use because I ALWAYS get this
message as soon as it starts searching for flights, and
Food Network, where it USUALLY (but not always) happens
when I am trying to download a recipe for my wife. I have
contacted Orbitz, who advised that I reinstall IE6 because
I might have some damaged files from improperly closing
down. Unfortunately, I downloaded everything and
reinstalled IE6 and I still have the problem. It sounds
like my problem is different from yours, but perhaps a
reinstallation of IE6 would be worth a try.
