IE6 - Don't close

I have a pc which is acting below the required standard (i.e.) He
doesn't want to obey my commands

IE6 is not closing from 'File | Exit' or clicking on the 'x' (close)
button (top right hand side) or right clicking on the window and then
'close'. The only solution is the forcely close ie6 from the task
manager. Other windows (windows explorer) and other programs are
closing normally. I don't know from where I am going to start to
troubleshoot this problem. Pc with win xp has been updated with SP1
and other updates. Strange!!

Close the current window. Ctrl key + W key.

You may very well have scumware.
