Hi
I'm having a problem with IE6. Whenever I try to open certain sites
(ie. http://www.acdsystems.com and http://www.jubii.dk) Internet
Explorer will crash and the following is recorded in the event log
(Win2k3 Server):
Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.3790.0, faulting module
kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.0, fault address 0x000249d3.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I have noticed that IE won't crash as long as I keep the mouse pointer
over the toolbars, but the second I move the pointer down into the
actual web-page it will crash. I can use tab to navigate the web-page
without problems, but as soon as I use the mouse it will crash.
I first noticed this problem on Windows 2003 Servers (Terminal
Servers), but I also have the problem on my personal Windows XP and my
bosses Windows 2000, and probably others too.
This leads me to suspect that a Windows-update may be the cause of it
but uninstalling them on my own computer does not help. (We are using
SUS to distribute Windows Updates)
We have had the problem for about three weeks now, and any suggestions
will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Søren
