ie6 can't go to amazon in win2k

have upgraded to ie6 and downloaded all the service packs for win2000
recently. i have no problems with ie6 except when trying to access
amazon.com. i get the no page to display. have checked security settings,
cookies settings.. refresh and all the obvious things. i can access amazon
on my other pcs runnign ie6! what's going on!? my hosts file seems to be
ok - only the localhost entry.

Can you ping www.amazon.com and get an IP address resolution?
Any difference between the network settings (esp. DNS) on this computer as
opposed to the others?
