IE6 cannot browse to intranet site after install hot fix

Hi all, hope you can assist me.

We have a development site inhouse which I use for test
and development. Last Friday I updated my machine with
the latest hotfixs using Windows update. I can no longer
navigate to the internet site. IE6 displays the
following: "The page cannot be displayed".

I have NT4 Sp6, IE 6 verion 6.0.2800.1106IS, with SP1,
Q832894, Q837008 and Q831167. It seems to me the hotfixes
caused this as a collegue also applied the updates on
windows updates and gets the same error. Please note
everyone else in the company can still get to the site.

I have looked at MS knowledge base and cannot find
anything directly related. Any advise?

Goto the "add/remove programs" in the control panel.
remove all the hotfixes that were installed with the
latest update (you can distinguish them by the "created
on" date). hope that fixes your problem!
