IE6 blank page problem

IE6 is giving me problems. Whenever I try to load ANY page
on IE6, including this site, the page just remains blank,
and won't load or anything. This never happened to me before.

I'm stuck using Netscape 6.2 right now since that seems to
work, but IE 6 doesn't if that helps any so it's not my DSL
modem.

I might want to mention that this problem didn't start
until after my phone company somehow messed up my phone
line, and had to fix up. After they fixed it, IE started to
act up like this.

I haven't found anything on the site about this either. Not
surprizing though.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

3. Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the following message:

DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded.

4. If that doesn't fix it, see this article:

http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers.htm#new_window

You can also try this:

Go to Start/run, and type SFC.
Choose 'Extract One File From Installation Disk'.
Type oleaut32.dll, not worrying about its location. Then, click Start.

Next to 'Restore From', type in or browse for the file's location, which is
probably in the Win98 folder of your installation CD-ROM (typically
D:\Win98), or in your Windows\Options\Cabs folder, as the case may be.

Then, next to 'Save File In', enter C:\Windows\System, and click OK. System
File Checker looks for the file, saves it as you requested, and then tells
you that 'the file has been successfully extracted'.

You may need to reboot.

Check out article 818506. Are you using IE6 SP1 ? I have
a similar problem, but I don't know how to get the fix
mentioned in 818506. Do any web pages work like GOOGLE ?

We are having a similar problem and have been assuming
that it has something to do with the latest security patch
recommended by Microsoft. CAN ANYONE FROM Microsoft
Support help us figure out this problem? Whenever we
want to access some of our secured applications we get a
blank page even though the login is successful

Thanks.

Tried everything in there just now. Well I didn't do the
SFC one, because when I tried to run it, it pops up for
about a second then closes. Why does that window do that?

Try doing it in a command window and find out.
Next time please disclose your OS.

I am having this exact same problem. Whenever I try to
open a link in a new window, it opens the window but it
is blank. I have also looked at the website and haven't
found anything regarding this. What I have found, I have
tried. If anyone can help, it would be great.
