Hi:

I am having a most perplexing problem, whenever I go to a
Web site to order a product, etc. a Dialog Box comes up
saying that IE6 has encountered a problem and must be
shut down....I send off the Error report to MS and then I
shut the Box down and the Browser is automatically shut
down, MS sent back a notice telling me how to take care
of the problem, I DLed a .DLL file from Flashpoint and
installed it, and the problem STILL exists!!!

How can I keep IE5 from shutting down whilst ordering, it
happens on one particulart site and I am paying via
Paypal.

I have the same issues with IE. It does it on all types of
pages. I can't do anything online for more then 10 min
without all my IE windows shuting down.

Driving me nuts.

Same here! I thought I did something wrong. This seems like a major
problem that many are experiencing. Why all of a sudden? I use
Windows 2000 Professiional.
I hate Microsoft.

I think I may have fix for you.

Go to Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced in IE

Make sure that the "enable third party extensions" is NOT
checked. If it is, UNCHECK and APPLY - then restart.

I have done this for my IE6 and it works fine - NO MORE
CRASHES

Good Luck
