IE6 2nd Window Freeze

Whenever I open a second browser window from a first (like
clicking on a link that opens into a new window) both
windows freeze and I have to close them - I am using XP
Home and just installed all the patches and updates.
Also, I used a few things from the internet to see if my
browser had been hijacked - like hijackthis, noadware,
etc. and I can't tell if that is what's happening. I am
using norton anti-virus - so I don't think that's the
problem. Any ideas?

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Do not know about noadware. As for HighjackThis it will not remove any
entries unless you tell it to. Do not do it on your own. It the tools above
do not clean your computer then post your log to the forum.

Unzip the Download file in a NEW FOLDER that you can create before you start
the download.
DO NOT install in your Desktop folder.
DO NOT use any of the TEMP folders that are presently in your computer.
(move it if you have it in one of these folders)
Double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:
