IE won't open full screen

After reinstalling XP, IE won't open full screen. In the old versions of IE
there was a setting for this, but now that IE is part of XP, I can't find
anything that controls a setting to open full screen. Is there one in XP?

It's the same way. It's an internet explorer option and has nothing to do
with what operating system your using.
In IE: view, full screen.
Or customize the buttons and add the full screen button.

OK, I tried the full screen F11, and I guess I don't want full screen
because the toolbar disappears. Is there a setting for almost full screen
that will keep the toolbar there? I also don't want the reduced size screen.
I think it is XP related because it was ok before I reinstalled XP. I'm not
saying it's an XP fault, only that Billy's decision on how I want my
settings isn't what I want and therefore XP defaults to something I don't
want. I can hit F11 but then the next time IE opens, it's back to a reduced
window.

In IE: view, full screen. If you use this(not F11), it will hold at full
screen when you close it. The next time you open it it will be in full
screen.
Once in full screen, right click the bar at the top on the screen and choose
menu bar.
Like I said, it works exactly the same as it was before, IE6 is IE6 no
matter what os it on, you just have to set it up the way you want it.

Open IE and press F1
The next time you open IE it will open full screen
To go back to small screen, click the square (small) butto
and it will open to the small screen setting

With IE in full screen you can view the toolbar by dragging your mouse into
the toolbar area, IF..... you click on Start...
Settings... Taskbar and Start Menu,,, make sure you have the Taskbar
selected. Now click to put a checkmark in the boxes before "Auto-hide the
Taskbar" and "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows". Now the taskbar
will always be viewable over other windows if you drag your mouse pointer
into the taskbar area. With the mouse pointer in any other area the taskbar
will be hidden. You have the best of both worlds.
