My problem is when I launch Internet Explorer it launches to a minimize box
on the task bar and will not maximize at all...in other words I can't open
the IE box...in then I have to go to the windows task manager and end task
for that launch...not sure what's wrong. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Find your IE icon on the desktop, or where ever you have it, right
click/properties/shortcut tab/ run.

It's probably set to minimize, just change it from the selections in the
drop-down box, make sure you hit apply or okay.

So, you have no 'shortcut' tab when you right click the I.E icon, then slide
your mouse down the list to properties, click on properties..what tabs do
you have?
