IE treats certain websites as popups?

some home pages and/or links within certain websites (esp
search links) cause all my IE windows to simultaneously
close without warning.

This happened after I installed sp2 with the new IE popup
blocker sofyware. Very annoying to have Windows close or
crash all open applications of IE and to not be able to
view a particular website.

Suggestions appreciated...tia

Not sure of your specifics, but generally speaking, check your settings
here:

IE/Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Pop-up Blocker/Settings
