IE Shuts Down

After about 6-10 browser searches that work fine, I get a
long delay and then the detect network settings page.
From that point on, IE is dead and I have to reboot to get
it back. This just started today. Does anyone have any
suggestions. I have deleted my temp files and run spybot,
adaware and McAffee virus to no effect.

Close as many running applications as you can.

Check for parasites.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
