IE security issues w/Symantec Security

I can only access the internet if I disable my Symantec
Security, Firewall, etc. I don't understand why.

John,

Your Norton Firewall isn't probably setup correctly, for
instance the rules may not have been setup to allow
Internet Explorer access to the Internet, so hence not
being able to access the internet.

Have you tried re-installing and see if that re-creates
the rules, if not post back and i'll detail how to add it
to the rules.
