IE saves ALL images as BMP

How come internet explore 6.0 saves a known jpeg file as
a bitmap file?
 
This is almost always cured by clearing the IE cache.
From IE> Tools> Options> General> Delete Files & Delete offline content. You
might also set the TIF folder size to about 50MB. Bigger isn't necessarily
better.
