Saving pictures as JPEG not BMP

Hi

thanks in advace for the solution to this simple question

When i right click an image in internet expliorere, and
save picture, it use to be saved as a jpeg. Now it will
only save images from the web as bitmap .bmp files.

Anyone know how i can corrct this?

That happens when the Temporary Internet Files are too full. In IE click
Tools | Internet Options. Click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet
files section of the General tab. On the next window place a check mark in
the box to Delete all offline content.

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
