IE RUNTIME ERROR

When trying to open IE from the start menu, main screen,
or program list I get a `Runtime Error! This Program has
requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information.` Uh, what is this and how do I fix it? AOL
still works for me and so does messenger and AIM, so I am
not sure what this problem is. I have also gone into the
Admin account and IE works fine there. Can someone please
please please help me with this? I just want my IE to
work without having to sign into AOL. Thank you in

This could be a parasite problem. Find and remove the malware with:

(I would run these programs in this order)
CWShredder http://www.net-integration.net/tools/hijackthis.html

Then... Spybot - Search & Destroy:
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd
(Remove items listed in red)
Ad-aware 6- Lavasoft: http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Both of these programs should be updated after installation- before use.

Another possibility:
From Internet Options> Advanced, if you have Sun Java and Microsoft VM
(virtual machine) uncheck Sun Java.
