An alien web address has attached itself to my IEXPLORE.exe
file and opens everytime I start up. I run Windows EX and
have tried to remove IE and re-install, but no good cannor
re-install as IE does not remove totally.
I have run Registry cleaner and searched for entry in
registry but nothing shows. any ideas?

what do you mean by attached to iexplore.exe
if you mean it's changed the address of your home page try resetting it in
tools/internet options/home page
and/or download and run these spyware/adaware progs
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ adaware
http://www.download.com/3000-8022-10122137.html spybot

It appears you have spyware on your computer. Have you
tried using "Spybot: Search And Destroy"? It is a free
program. It removes that pesky spyware on your comp. It
should do the trick.
