IE keeps opening new windows

Using latest version of IE, SP1.
When I click to open IE, new windows for IE continue to
open, and if I set for autoconnect, dialer keeps opening
multiple windows. Anyone know what the problem is here and
how to fix it? Thanks.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
