If anyone could please help me with the following.

My IE is displaying some very weird problems.

1). The print command does nothing.
2). When I try and open the Page Setup Dialog I get this error: "An error
has occurred raising the Page Setup Dialog. Error: 19 Library not
registered."
3). When I try and open pages in a new browser window, they'll either not
open or open and not load.
4). AND some elements on some pages won't work. The most frustrating of
which is the Windows Update... clicking the install updates button does
nothing! (There could be an issue with all web forms, I haven't checked).
5). Probably a load of other problems I haven't discovered...

What I've done to try and correct the problem is perform an in-place
reinstall of IE but that hasn't solved the problem. Please help me with
this. These symptoms started out-of-the-blue and I'm not aware of anything
I've done to cause them.

Please help.

Thanks,
Jacob

I solved the problem with a System Restore, but if anyone is interested, I
think I found the source of the problem. A few days previous I downloaded
this from Microsoft:

Headers and Libraries for Internet Explorer 6 SP1
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/samples/internet/default.asp?frame=true

because I was developing some software for IE and wanted to make sure I had
the most current headers and libraries. The issues started when I
uninstalled this file. It must have removed some of the headers and
libraries for IE that were already on the system instead of just the ones
that it placed there during the installation. Some would say, "well
obviously uninstalling the IE libraries would cause these problems"... well
of course. I just didn't expect some Microsoft developer software to be so
discourteous to my machine as to remove libraries that were already there.
