IE is not working

Hi

I have IE 6.0 on my windows xp machine, from last week onwards, when I try
to open the browser, it take at least 2 to 3 minute to open the page, after
that every site I trey to open it take for ever to open. I down load and
installed Netscape and it work fine, no delay to open any web site, I did not
installed or remove any applications from my computer, I also scan for add
aware, and I have Mcafee 8.0 on this machine, Anybody experienced this this
kind of a problem with IE. is there a fix for this issue. please help.

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with

Did you get ANY help with this? My computer did an auto update last week,
(forgot to take that off because I hate these updates) and BAM, it takes
exactly 3 minutes for each screen to come up!! This is crazy and then trying
to get into any of these forums????? OH PLEASE
