IE icons on desktop

Dear Helpteam,
Since latest update of IE explorer all internet related icons are the
same standard MS icon on the desktop. It is not possible to change
them into another icon anymore.
How can I change this back or (re)set something?

Solution 1 :
1) Open Properties of shortcut and change the icon.
2) Click Apply and close the window.
3) Open the properties of shortcut again then go to General tab.
4) Tick "Read-Only" and click OK

Solution 2 :
1) Right click Desktop and choose Properties
2) Go to Appearance tab and click on Effects button.
3) Uncheck "Use Large icons" and click OK twice.
