IE Hijacked by about:blank

My IE v6.0 has been hijacked by about:blank

Anytime I change my browser setting to my preferred site,
it gets changed back to this &$#@(**&^%^&*%%xyx
about:blank site.

anyone have any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Scans by Norton Anti-virus, Ad-Ware, and Spy-bot did not
detect this nasty thing.

Run CWShredder http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html you
may be lucky enough to have the variety that's easy to remove. (Alternate
site for CWShredder http://www.aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip)
