IE hangs for about 10 seconds

I have a dial up connection. Whenever I navigate to a new
web page, after the status message states "done" and the
page is loaded, the window hangs for about 10 seconds.
After that, I can interact with the page with no
problems...until I navigate to another page and it does
the same thing again (on every new page loaded). Any
suggestions?

I guess I should have read other postings before I put
mine in...Here's the fix (copied from another posting):

Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced then
UNCHECK "Enable
third-party browser extensions"
then reboot.
Worked for me hope it helps someone else.

Frank,

It's just a workaround. The legit ones [such as google toolbar and other required ones] are also disabled along with malware.

*You need to eliminate the malware*
