IE freezes after patch

I didn't have the worm on my computer, but I installed
the patch today to fix the problem that was letting the
worm into computers. Since I installed it, internet
explorer has been freezing a lot when I click on a link.
I can't shut it down myself, but I can close it through
the task manager. Once the whole computer froze and I had
to restart it. I connect to the internet through cable,
and we actually have a wireless network here that
connects through the cable, if that makes any difference.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try restoring your computer back before the patch and see if ie works.
Check to see if ie works. If so try reinstalling the patch. If the problem
returns I would contact Microsoft. If you have an up to date antivirus
program and a good firewall you should be pretty safe if you decide to
remove the patch again.
