SP3/IE patch

C

crasher

specs: Dell 6000 Inspiron, XP Pro, SP2, IE 6.0

I updated my computer to Service Pack 3, and then tried going online. I was
able to receive a wireless signal and connect to it, but not use it. I would
get a message saying "limited or no connectivity" I would try to repair the
connection, but it would be unable to acquire an IP address. I restored to
before SP3, and my internet would work again. Also, can I get the new IE hack
patch without SP3?

You should update your Wireless Network card drivers. That usually
does the trick. If that doesn't work, there are some post-SP3 hotfixes
you can try.

Thanks for those suggestions. I'm still working on it.

Sure. Let me know if it doesn't help.
