IE favorites seen between multiple TS users

On my Windows 2000 SP4 TS, I have a problem where the IE
favorites are seen between multiple(all?) TS users. Also,
if one of the users adds a new favorite, everyone else
can see it. Everything else seems to be working and
segregating fine on the TS, just this problem with IE
favs. Any ideas?

Are all users loging in with a shared account?
In which location are the Favorites saved on disk?

The users all have their own individual AD accounts on
our DC that they use to log on. The favorites should be
stored as part of their profile correct? We have all
users set up with a mapped profile path to p: (located on
the DC server), and they are all set up with roaming
profiles.

Assuming you have separate profiles and usernames for all
your users, the problem most likely can be solved by
redirecting the favorites to a different location. This
can be done through group policies.

My colleague was able to fix the problem. There was
apparently a registry setting that had to be changed in
each user's TS registry to fix the problem. Thanks for
the help.

Could you please post that registry entry, so that others
may be able to solve similar problems?

Thanks.

Here's the info that was sent to me:

MS TechNet article 158787 is where I found the registry
key info. The key to change is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Click to select the Favorites value.
On the Edit menu, click String.

Change this value to the path of the users favorites
folder. Usually on a Win 2000 Terminal Services server:
c:\documents and settings\username\windows\favorites.
This can be set to any location, however.
