IE drops Inernet Connection

Hi

I am running Windows XP Pro and have a DSL internet connection running through a router. The problem that I am having is after a certain period of time of not using the internet my connection drops. Is there a firewall feature within XP that is set to automatically drop my connection? Also, is there a way to prevent this from happening?

You need to make sure your modem and or router is set to always on. If not
it will drop the connection when idle.
