Ok, I can't say this will work for everyone, but it
worked for me. I had the same VERY frustrating 15-20
second wait time after loading pages that I have seen
numerous people post here. I tried a lot of the common
things that others tried (e.g. set to default settings,
disable anti-virus, disable internet security, load
latest MS updates, etc.). Nothing worked. Finally, I
installed both Spybot and Ad-aware 6. I ran them both
and now I'm back in business (very happy).

IMPORTANT NOTE: make sure that you download the latest
Spybot and/or Ad-aware reference files. Ad-aware just
released one two days ago (3/2/2004).

Now I hope it continues to work fine.

Same fix worked for me. But, now I cannot connect to certain websites like my bank and perform on-line transactions. How do I go into the quarantine files of Spy and Ad and return certian DLL drivers in order to begin using on-line transactions again?

Champ,
Open SpyBot, click the Help menu .....
[or]
Click the "Recovery" button ........
