IE locks and won't end from Task Manager

My IE 6.0 will often stay in memory when I close it. If I try and
reopen it later, it will be locked and not load any page. If I try to
go into Task Manager and end it, it will not end. The only way to get
it working again is to reboot. I run SpySweeper constantly and SpyBot
and Ad-Aware on a regular basis. I am on XP SP2. Has anyone ever heard
of this problem? Thanks very much in advance.

Hi Jeffrey,

Are you running any other toolbars. MSN Search with Tabbed browsing and
Desktop search or Yahoo companion with tabbed browsing?

Do you do regular Windows Updates?

There were updates for "memory leaks" long ago.

Thanks, but no extras (except Google Toolbar). I always get updates,
but if you know of a specific memory leak one please let me know and I
will verify that it installed properly. Thanks again!
