IE 6 crashes when in eBay

Have latest version of IE6, Windows 98. About a week ago,
IE started crashing repeatedly. Sent crash reports but no
patch provided from Microsoft so problem not recognized.
Crash seems to only happen when searching in eBay, usually
when going back from auction listing to search list (very
strange). Cleaned up cookies, ran Spybot & Ad-aware but
not fixed. Any ideas besides uninstalling and reinstalling
IE?
Thanks loads for any help provided!!

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
