IE Default ICON changed

Usually when I add to my favorites, the link shortcut is saved with the
default IE icon (Icon is a picture of a big "e"). One day, all the icons
changed to something else. Whenever I add to my favorites now, the "e" is no
longer the default icon used.

Why is IE doing this?
Is there an option to change the settings back so the default icon with be
the "e" again?

Hi,
Go to Control Panel> Folder Options> File Types> Internet Shortcut>
Advanced> Change Icon.
