ie crashes at printing

ie 6 crashes with ntdll.dll error when i try to print to a network printer from ie, on a win2k machine. please help

Here is what happens: I default to a network printer, then
I open Internet Explorer (v6) and go to File, Print, and
the error I get is Microsoft's generic error message:
Internet Explorer has caused an invalid error, please
close the application. It's the pop-up that lets you send
or not send a report of the error. In details the Error
signature says:AppName:iexplore.exe, then the version,
then the ModName:ntdll.dll. However, when i default to a
local printer and try to do the same thing, works just
fine.
Please help.

In details the Error signature says:AppName:iexplore.exe,

then the version, then the ModName:ntdll.dll.

Crashes in that module are often symptoms of problems in the caller.
You could figure out who the caller is from the Stack Back Trace
of the crashing task as shown by drwtsn32.log. To find the crashing task
(in an English dump) do a find up for FAULT -> . The Stack Back Trace
is below that.

Meanwhile, for another of the possibilities that Henri was giving you
try the resolution from this article. (Note: it should apply equally well
to IE6 even though the article doesn't explicitly refer to it.)
