my Internet explorer is having a funny turn and has been for a while. when some pages are opened the message that it has encountered a problem and needs to close comes up or it says that the search page can not be opened. i've also found that certain words are highlighted in blue and link to a search page called NTsearch. also getting on my nerves. and after entering requsts into a search engine or clicking the tab on my hotmail messages to be deleted the message is being displayed that you must enter something first. any help would be appreachiated.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
