IE closes/had error when surfing certain webpages

hi,

my IE just started having error msgs whenever i surf onto certain websites such as google.com and when i try to click on links at livejournal.co

the error signature is as follow
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName: mlang.dl
ModVer: 6.0.2600.0 Offset: 0000b62

and my norton anti virus can't seem to load the window to do a full system scan

help!
