IE Problems

OS: XP Pro
When I try to open Internet Explorer it comes up with this
error:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName: mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2600.0 Offset: 001b9365

It also does this for AOL Instant Messenger? I've been
searching the microsoft website and found nothing for XP
Pro users. Thanks.
