IE can't open web sites!

I upgraded to IE6 sp1 but now it doesn't open some web sites. I'm running
WIN ME and it's up to date. sombody told me about asyncflt.dll but I
couldn't find it in microsoft web site.
 
What have your done to clear your problem?
Do you get any error messages?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
