IE - can't open email attachments

I cannot open ANY email attachment at all. IE says
they're unsafe. I tried adjusting my security setting
lower but that did not work. (It's currently set at
medium.) I recently reformatted my hard drive and I have
upgraded both my Windows 2000 with the latest fixes etc.
and IE to V.6, plus I have Norton Antivirus with online
auto upgrade. Anyone out there who can help me?

No, IE did NOT do it, Outlook Express did. And that's an Outlook Express
problem NOT a windows 2000.

Just click on the "+" sign by Internet Explorer 6 to see the Outlook Express
group.

If your problem is really with Outlook Express, and you are on V6, go to
Tools, Options, click on the Security tab, then uncheck the box for "Do not
allow attachments to be opened...."
