IE cannot search from address bar

I was downloading a file and some how I cannot search
from my address bar. MSN was replaced by someother search
engine. I went to Internet Options and Advanced and is
was checked to go to most likely page. What gives?

I had this exact same problem...ie6 was hijacked by a
program called clear search... After 2 weeks of either
wrong answers or no answers I did a system restore and it
cured the problem...There is some really childish and
nasty stuff out there.....All the best..............Drew
