Hi - I have a brand new Dell with XP Home pre-installed. After setting it up
(hardly installing any software at all) we have had intermittent freezes of
outlook and IE since the begining.
Outlook or IE, depending what you open first, will stop responding -- and
you can't even force it to quit. You have to do a hard re-boot. It 'seems'
related to the network (attached cable modem) as sometimes when you go into
IE it says it is 'offline' and asks to connect to the network.
Any ideas? What should I do / monitor to try and diagnose the problem? I am
an expereienced computer user...but have not had a ton of experience with
XP.
Thanks in advance.
