IE ActiveX Behaviour and HTC

I have an interactive activex object that is created on my pages via the use
of an htc. The recent modification to interactive activex objects behaviours
in IE has cause this to break. Should this happen as this way of implementing
the activex objects in this way obeys the rule that the objects are created
via external scripts(htc).

I am very confused.

Thanks
I already looked at the work arounds and implemented one.
I still am confused though as to why using an Htc is not a valid work around
to the problem, it is after all acting as a proxy for including the Activex
control in the document, just not but calling an external script.

As for the work around it did indeed stop the browser prompting for
activation of the control. It has however screwed the thing and the control
itself is not visible and I have a hunch it is down to loading it via a
script whish is screwing up the timing of when I can apply values to the
controls properties and when I can use it's methods. It seems only to affect
the control if I want to set properties etc at immediately before I set it to
display itself.
