IE6 web services behaviour (.htc) problem

Hello community

I have a web page that makes use of the web services
behaviour functions in the '.htc' file.

When the page is loaded it generates a popup error
message of 'invalid active port'.

The WSDL file involved is valid and the webservice is
accessible from other clients withou issue.

I suspect it is soemthing to do with [hardcoded]
namespaces in the '.htc' file from the very few posts I
have seen on Google groups.

I am hoping that someone can help (hopefully someone from
MS will see this too). Thank you.

I'm also having problems using webservice.htc against a WSDL that requires
authentication. So I decided about 3 weeks ago to go through the
webservice.htc line-by-line and at least attempt to document what it's doing
(especially since MS has "archived" it, I don't expect to get any more help
from them on it!)

I just yesterday documented the part of the code that's handling the
namespaces.

Would you be interested in a copy of the code once it's been documented?
