Hello:
I frequently use a webpage to upload customer's applications to the credit
department. This web page was recently updated and now it does not function
properly, it lucks up when trying to verify the customer's address through a
conection with a database where the zip code can be matched via a map.

The MIS group is tellig me that IE7 is my problem and I need to us IE6 SP1.
My PC had WIN XP Home edition when I bought with IE7 included, the webpage in
question was running well before the update, can someone tell me if this si
trully a good recomendation to go back to IE6?
Thanks Jorge

I assume IE7 is like every other MS product. You are basically a Beta tester
for as long as it takes them to figure out their problems.

Blimy, I don't even trust Windows Update as too often an update does more
than just what's stated and often I've had to undo the undocumented
features, e.g. updating WMP screws my mp3 encoder codec everytime, replacing
it with a limited ability (only low bit rates) alternative instead.

Thanks for your comments PJP, I downloaded IE6 and tried to install it but
guess what? Windows detected IE7 and does not let me install an older version.
I'll keep looking and pounding on my MIS guys to look for another solution.
My other alternative thing o do is remove IE7 tottaly from my system and
then try to install IE6
