IE 7 Beta 2 & Other Incendences of IE 7

So far the only problem I've noticed is a complete shutdown (send error
message) of IE7 Beta 2 when a second IE7 Window opens. First noticed
this when I responded to "Take a Tour" of IE7. After that went to other
sites that open secondary incendents of the browser and the same thing
happened.

Has anyone experienced this behaviour and if so is there a workaround
or fix yet?

Thanks!

Steve,

Yahoo! Companion toolbar is known to cause this problem (especially in
earlier IE versions). Two things you can try:

1. Check the Event log. There is a seperate log for IE7
2. Try using IE7 Beta 2 "no add-ons" mode.

Ramesh,

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't using the Yahoo! toolbar but rather the
Google Toolbar. I thought that might be a problem so I removed it prior
to reading your reply. I disabled all add-ons (I take it this is would
be the "no add-ons mode) and still had the problem.

I get the error window (for sending a report) right after the page
totally loads in the second instance of IE 7. When I either reply to
send or not send a report then IE7 shuts down.

I'm kind of stumped on this one. I'm can't tell from the log what might
be causing this. I'm hoping having sent numerous error reports the
problem (be it mine or Microsofts) will be resolved. It's all part of
the Beta process, eh?

Thanks again for your reply and if you or anyone else has any ideas,
I'm open.

The IE Team blog mentions two (or more) ways to send feedback to the IE
Team. Pls see:
