IE 7.0

I downloaded IE 7.0 for Win XP Pro SP2 and when I try to install it I get a
Valadition screen and when I click on Valadate my computer shuts down and
knocks me off the air.

I dont know how to rid my machine of the valadate program. I have a
legitimate copy of Win XP Pro SP2
