IE 7.0 browser

Since I installed VISTA with IE 7.0, every time I open IE 7.0 I get MSN.com
as my home page. I have changed it several times and when I say to remove
the home page, it asks me if I want to delete About:Blank as my home page.
Unfortunately, I can not remove it. I did not have About:Blank on my PC
before I installed Vista. So much for better security. Any ideas about
removing it? I tried HiJackThis but it doesn't even show up.

"AboutBlank" refers to openning IE with a blank home page, which is exactly
what you are telling it to do when you delete the only other home page.

Try going into the tools menu and seeing if you can change your homepage
there. Usually what I do is go to the page I want as my home page, then go
to Tools>Internet Options. The first thing you will see is the General
tab, and up near the top there is a button that says "Use Current" Try
pressing that one.

I know about that and it did not work. But I did fix it just before you sent
me the reply. I kept repeatedly deleting home page and all home pages and
eventually I got a blank page and then I added a new home page. It was a lot
more complicated than XP. There is a nightmare adware browser hijacker
called About:Blank and I thought it was this. Thanks for your help.
