Windows Mail and IE 7.0 starting erroniously

When I'm playing my online game(Warcraft), Windows Mail along with Internet
Explorer 7.0 will start up in the background. I don't use the Windows Mail
Service. I also followed all troubleshooting guides for IE 7.0 including
restoring to default settings in Advanced Tab in Properties. When I minimize
my game and close out the Windows Mail and countless IE 7.0 pages and return
to game play, five minutes will pass and I have to repeat closing Windows
Mail an IE pages for a good hour to hour an a half.

I resorted to changing my Internet Browser to Firefox and I'm not sure
this will fix the IE problem, but it seems that the Windows Mail and IE are
one in the same issues.

Is this a Windows Vista issue, since Windows Mail was Outlook? How can I
purge Windows mail from my Operating System and fix IE 7.0 from errounious
start ups?

Windows Mail is the new version of Outlook Express, not Outlook. It cannot
be removed from Vista, since it is part of the operating system.

The following fix handles many Windows Mail problems, so you might try
download and install it, without Windows Mail running, to see if handles
the Windows Mail part of the problem:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version,
try the 32-bit version first.

Guys the Windows Mail issue seems to be fixed at this moment, but IE issue
still persists. I resorted to uninstalling IE and it still pops up in
background while playing Warcraft online. This is extremely annoying. Any
suggestions? Really want this issue fixed.

Yes I used all the links in the above responses. I'm sorry to say they both
didn't work. Windows Mail isn't popping up in the background as often though.
On the other hand, Windows IE 7.0 continues to po up in the background with
several pages opening at once while playing Warcraft. I even resorted to
uninstalling Windows IE, and to my surprise, it still pops up in background.
Go figure.
Is there any other fixes I might try or is it a clash of programs of
Warcraft, Vista and IE 7.0?

I didn't think it was possible to uninstall IE7 from Vista.

Is there a Warcraft users group you can consult? I'm afraid that
none of the regular responders here have any experience with
Warcraft. ;-)
