Since I downloaded the Internet Explorer 6, I haven't been
able to access a site I had access to initially. This is
the only thing that has been affected by the download. I
considered uninstalling IE because I discovered that I'm
missing SCRRUN.DLL, but not certain if this is a
significant file and whether or not the absence of this
file would hinder access to a site. Any suggestions?

Update your scripting engine:

or

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.
