I have had IE 6 work in the past, but a few days ago, every
time I launch my IE 6 browser I get the following:
1) "No page to display"
- I have tracked this on my task manager and can see the
increase of memory use
- eventually it tells me my virtual memory need to be
larger and page filing needs to be changed. I have done
this and made a lot larger than what was recomended and I
still have the same issues.

2) All my other applications and applets are fine. I tried
reinstalling IE6 SP1, but to no avail (I am using windows
2000 OS). So I tried downloading Netscape thinking this
had to do with the browser. I have no issues with Netscape.

Please offer and suggestions or helpful hints or I will
have to use Netscape. BTW, since you can download IE for
free should MS offer free support on their IE product?
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Thanks. I looked at both information you cited below. After
reading both sources, I ran lspfix, but nothing was fixed
as my summary had 0 counts for all items (e.g. 0 renumbered).
I then thought I would use the MS Knowledge Base Article
that was cited -- 308780. I was going to replace the key
from a healthy computer, but I tried to find the key
"HKEY_Local_Machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\winsock2",
but could not find this key either by using the tree
display or the find function in the Registry editor on the
computer that had the problem.

Any thoughts or input?
