IE 6 wont open certain web pages

Hi I am unable to gain access to both amazon.com & paypal.com, ie6 displays
"the page cannot be displayed". I recently installed norton internet security
and have tried configuring it to allow these sites but to no avail. I have
even unistalled norton but stil no luck! Any ideas please!!!

HI, I can't offer help. I am having the same problem and have been searching
for a place to find an answer. I can not get on ebay.com either. I hope
someone out there has some answers. Thanks, Mary

Three things to try:

1. Clear your TIF and History completely:

2. Check your \Cookies folder and delete any cookies that relate to the
sites in question.

3. Check your Hosts file as per this article:
