IE 6 image display problem

hello,
IE 6 will not display certain images on certain websites. For example I have
been viewing video clips on http://www.bbcmotiongallery.com but I cannot see
the thumbnails in the search page. I also cannot see the banner at the top of
http://www.leedsmetsnowboarders.co.uk . Im sure there are many other
examples, but I cannot see them and there is no placeholder telling my I
cant. I have checked every setting in IE6 and my firewall (norton personal)
but had no luck.

Has anyone experience the same problem ?

Can someone shed some light ?

Your Norton may have settings to block banner ads or images from known ad
servers. I have professional so I am not sure if that is true for the
personal version.

Also if you are using another anti-spyware product, check the settings for
these products. They use HOSTS file entries to block annoying sites and
banner ads.

I'm having a simmilar problem. What did you "fiddle" with to solve your
problem?
